Your wedding day is coming up and you want to be sure that you’re doing everything possible to make it the best day ever. You aren’t the only one – everyone around you is likely working with you to do the same sort of thing.  Some women fantasize about their wedding for years before that big day.  They want it to be truly perfect.  That being said, if you want your day to be amazing, you want to look amazing, right?

  1. Accessories. Obviously, you’ll be wearing important jewelry like your engagement ring, but if you’re finding tennis bracelets, earrings, or even a new necklace, be sure they match and shine.
  2. Hair. Making a hair appointment is definitely the best way to ensure you look your best. Many stylists know how to do all sorts of things for your hair.  Do your research and find a stylist that you can work with and feel great about trusting with your hair!
  3. Makeup. Professionally done makeup is not only going to look awesome, but it will save you time and effort that you could spend on other parts of the preparation process. Call someone in or stop by a makeup place to get the best makeup job possible.  Be sure to express the look you are seeking – a smooth natural look or a glamour look.  It makes a big difference.
  4. Relax. One of the best ways to look great is to not look like you’re stressed out. Take a long shower, do some yoga and stretching, tai chi, meditate, pray, or do whatever else is going to help you to stay calm and be ready to go when the ceremony gets started.  For me I changed my diet even and eating more naturally allowed me to relax so much more than before.
  5. Skin. Your skin should have a healthy moisturizing routine before your wedding. Why? Because it’ll help it to look healthy, it can prevent acne and other blemishes, and you’ll feel a little more confident about how you look.  Additionally, properly hydrating (drinking water) will help keep your skin moisturized and healthy.
  6. Weather. There are many things you can try to control but weather is not one of them.  Remember to be as flexible as possible.

Your wedding day is a big deal and you want to be sure that you’re doing as much as you can in order to get ahead and stay ahead for your special day.
