Glow In The Dark Slime With Glitter

So I can’t believe my youngest of five children is 13 and this is the first time we have made slime.  It is a quick project and one that we will definitely do again.  This one is a Glow In The Dark Slime!  We needed Elmer’s Glow in the Dark Neon Glue, Contact Lens Solution, extra Glitter and baking soda.  Everyone loves to make slime!

Simply mix the ingredients in a bowl and it should pretty quickly start to thicken up.  If it doesn’t, add about 1/4 teaspoon more of contact lens solution at a time.  The contact lens solution you use should contain boric acid and sodium borate in order for your slime to form.  We made our slime a bit thick, next time we will make it a little bit more stretchy.

Ingredients:

1/2 Tablespoon Baking Soda

1 1/2 Tablespoons of Contact Lens Solution

Add up to 1/2 cup of water if you would like a stretchier slime

Extra glitter

Mix all together.  Mix the contact lens solution in slowly so you can stop when you get to your desired consistency.  Store in an air tight container and it should last at least a week!

Sounds easy to make but not for me. For the last 4 years I have bought my great niece just about ever thing but NOT SLIME!! I don’t know why but I don’t want it in my house so then I would never give it as a gift.
